PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Maison Louis Jadot is a famous wine producer in Burgundy who has been around since 1859. Jadot controls 270 hectares of Vineyards and also buys grapes from other growers. They only produce AOC wine, France’s highest classification.
Beaune vineyards are the most extensive of the Côte de Beaune, between Savigny to the North, and Pommard to the South. Les Grèves is situated in the North between Les Toussaints, Les Bressandes and Les Theurons. In French,Grèves means sandy, small stones, which describes the soil of these vineyards. This premium cru can be aged 5 to 10 years.
Grape: Chardonnay
Sensory Notes: Light golden colour. Nose - Floral, buttery. Palate - Dry, medium body. Best served between 12°C to 14°C.
Food Pairing: Mixed salads, soja salad, vegetable tempura, seafood , sushi, cheviche, salmon tartar, vegetarian cuisine : vegetable tart, fennel, zucchini fritters, vegetable gratin, wok noodles, vegan burger, fish & chips, chicken yakitori, escargots, goat cheese.
