PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Château des Jacques is located in Moulin-à-Vent in the north of Beaujolais producing red and white wines from Gamay and Chardonnay. The château has been owned by Maison Louis Jadot since 1996 and is widely recognized for its range of Beaujolais cru wines.
Morgan "Cote du Py" is situated on an emblematic terroir composed of bluish rocks derived from an underwater volcano and whose origins are even more ancient than the pink granite of Moulin à Vent. The wine needs two or three years to reach its harmony, and can then age comfortably for several decades.
Grape: Gamay
Sensory Notes: Ruby. Nose - blackberries, raspberries, chocolate, pepper, coffee. Palate - Balanced fruity taste with blackberries, coffee, spices, high acidity and a long spicy finish.
Food Pairing: This very elegant wine is both powerful and incredibly long. Its great complexity allows it to partner a wide range of delicate dishes.
