PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Chateau Paradis Casseuil was acquired by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) in 1984. The vineyard is located in the three districts of Casseuil, Caudrot, and Sainte-Foy-la-Longue in the appellation Entre-Deux-Mers.
The wines of Château Paradis Casseuil are characterized by their freshness, intense fruity and slightly woody aromas. They can be consumed within 2 to 3 years after harvest. The choice of a limited yield aims to guarantee high quality wines, respectful of the Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) style.
Grapes: 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon
Sensory Notes: Deep purple colour. The nose is flattering dominated by soft spicy notes, grilled almonds and discreet toasted scents. In mouth it is well-balanced, round, medium structure with soft tannins. Peppery aromas at the end.
Food Pairing: Best with rich grilled meat (beef short ribs, lamb). Best served between 15°C to 17°C, decant for 1 hour.
